This is a pain in the *kitten* keeping track of calories everyday! Lol I'm just staying with working out 3 days a week and trying to watch what I eat!

If you want to achieve a goal, it's worth it.0

You get used to it. I kinda figure it's like my job. I'm not wildly keen on it, but if I want nice things, I have to make the effort.0

What else might you do instead? What is your goal?0

It works for me keeping track on here but I have taken a hiatus from time to time. When I go overboard on eating for too long a time I come back here.0

Walking is a great way to stay active, but when it comes to fat loss it is very difficult to create the deficit you need in order to lose with walking alone.0 -
I don't think I have time to out-walk a bad diet. But I do have time to log my food!0

If you don't already, use the barcode scanner, it saves an incredible amount of time. And for non packaged things, the recent items list really helps reduce time after you have been using the app a little while. It lists things you have used before so you don't have to search them out again.0

I gets so much faster as time go on. Something that's second nature to you. Good luck on not logging. I tend to get into trouble when I go that route.0

If staying with what you're already doing works, then don't use this app! Simple as that.
This works for a lot of people, but if not your thing then it's easy to uninstall.0 -
I hated it at first. Food got cold before i finished logging. Now it feels unnatural to eat something I didn't log first. It took about 3-4 months before that happened. Your list fills up with the foods you eat often so searching becomes faster.
I love knowing exactly where I stand. If I can learn to trust my Fitbit, I will know where I stand with the CO part.
Knowing what the numbers are negate every single excuse I can think of.0 -
check weight and measurements after a month and see if it works. If not, then you may have to deal with the annoyance of logging. But if it does work you're set.0

I lost 50 pounds by logging. Takes maybe a whole 2 minutes of my time. Wouldn't have it any other way.

it takes about five minutes to pre log your whole day …..0

Not really...I mean I don't run, I cycle...but running for the same period of time is going to burn more calories than walking and is going to go further in regards to improving your cardiovascular fitness. Don't get me wrong, walking is great low impact activity...but at this point it does next to nothing to improve or maintain my fitness level.0 -

I agree that tracking calories can be a pain at times. For me, calorie counting is more of a guideline for the day not a religious practice. What I find most useful about this app is that it summarizes your macros and nutrients for you. If you want to watch what you eat, this is a great way to start. It's easy to identify when you're not eating something particularly healthy. Having to log that food may help keep you accountable to yourself. My suggestion- figure out what works for you by trying new things to get the best results. Good luck0
