I need a little help... According to this app I could be eating 1500 calories per-day...if I plan on going to the gym should I over eat my calories and burn them off are should I eat the 1500 and burn as many exercise points that I can?

If 1500 is your goal, then your NET cals should be at or near goal every day. Your 1500 per day is figured without exercise at MFP, so if you eat 1400 cals, then burn 200 in exercise, your net cals are only 1200 - make sense?
Depending on how you're figuring your exercise burns, you should be eating at least a portion of them back. MFP's calorie burns for exercise are notoriously high, so some members will go with 50-75% eaten back. If you use a good HRM with a chest strap for cardio workouts, they are more accurate, and will give you a closer estimate of your actual burn.
Hope that helps!0 -
Work out, and stick to 1500 cals, unless you want to maintain/increase your weight.0
