Pretty simple lunch

Hey figured I'd drop this off just in case, it's a simple recipe that had worked in the past for me and since in restarting my diet plan to use it once more.

The simple but great, chicken and rice.
I personally use brown rice steamed, and for my chicken I'll strip it and grill it with honey for that bit of sweetness.

    Yes. That works well.
When I am not in the mood to prepare meat, I add either canned beans (drained) or add some cheddar cheese. Soy sauce works nice with these kinds of rice dishes.

I have a mental block against a meal without veg, but often have chicken and rice with mixed frozen veg and some seasoning.

That's not a meal or a recipe. That's chicken. And rice. Where's the vegies, sauce... And perhaps some fat?

Yeah, that's not a recipe, and it's not even a meal. You don't need recipes to create meals, but for me a meal isn't a meal without vegetables, it's just a snack, and I don't snack :D

I'd consider it a meal IF the meat is savory enough with a good sauce

I am a vegetarian. But yes its simple and considered a complete meal in some 3rd world countries. I love organic rices with sauteed organic tofu with organic Tamari. Healthy. And delicious!
