I wan to log a walk I have done but the calories burnt on map my walk is higher than my fitness pal calculates . What one is best to go by?
Should I be eating back calories burnt?

Neither, both overestimate. For walking you can calculate your net calories expended using the following formula: .30 x weight (in lbs) x distance (in miles) (or 30 cal per mile per 100lbs of body weight)
If your activity level on MFP is set at sedentary and you are religiously (and accurately) logging every morsel you eat feel free to eat back your exercise calories otherwise approach it with caution as it's just human nature to over estimate calories expended and underestimate calories consumed - if you're still losing weight start off, perhaps, with half the calories from exercise.
