Weight loss slowing down.

I have just about reached my halfway point. I lost 65.8 pounds total. My healthy weight range is about 170-ish. I've noticed it's getting harder to lose the weight. My daily calorie goal is at 1380 for 2 pounds per week, but it's more like 0.5-1 pound per week now. Do I need to cut a little bit more calories or is this normal for weight loss to slow down like this?

Are you weighing and logging food accurately? Did you change or stop exercising?

Pretty normal. It would probably be hard to cut further. Perhaps adding in some fitness goals? Congrats on the great loss! Are you at about 30 weeks? This is a challenging time, so keep vigilant, be real with yourself if you are having off days, and keep doing what's been working.

The closer you get to your goal the less you will lose per week. Have you tried increasing your daily caloric intake to reflect a 0.5-1lb loss per week?

Yes, at some point weight loss slows down as your body gets used to your new way of life. Lots of folks experience slow loss or flat out weeks-long plateaus until they can figure out what change to make to get jump started again.

What are your macro percentages? Perhaps swap out some carb % for protein %.
What is your activity level? Perhaps add in weight training if you are only doing cardio.
Consider adding back 100 calories a day - it's possible your body is holding onto every calorie it gets because it doesn't like only getting 1380 per day. Adding back 100 calories a day may get your body to "relax" about reducing and get you going again (albeit at just short of 2 pounds per week - but it's still a loss).
