    aside from that, MFP is what you make of it. I was on/off a long time before I ever really got into the forums very much. it's 90% a great site despite the maddening glitches, without taking into account having "friends" on here.
    friends make it easier for me nowadays, won't matter much at all to other people. nobody cared who i was until I posted gifs.
