Body type diet

So my GF at work did the body type diet and said that she broke through her plateau with it. So I borrow the book and begin reading. I am totally addicted to starches and desserts so I can see the logic in this. I completely fit the T-type woman so I figure I'll give it a try. Lots of lean protein, all the veggies I can eat, 1/2 cup of whole grains at each meal, and no fruits or sweets while I am trying to lose weight. They can be added back in moderation once i am done losing weight.
So I pig out on veggies at lunch along with my fish and my moz cheese stick and I ate my breakfast. Here I am at 6:30 almost 7PM...can't eat until 7 and I'm starving! I added up all my calories for the day and I haven't even broke 1000...even after eating dinner (I posted my dinner to see what it would add up to)
This is insane! A person cannot survive on 600 calories per day! No wonder you melt fat from your trouble areas on this diet. Am I wrong? Right? Am I missing something with this diet plan? It sounds good, it's very balanced but my goodness, I could eat a whole horse right now.
Anybody got experience with this diet plan and/or tips.

it doesn't sound real healthy - evidently you are filling up if you are starving. sounds to me like you are missing protein. maybe just add some additional protein into the diet. you might loose weight initially, but your body will start slowing down its metabolism if it thinks you are starving! be careful0
