New and need motivation :)

Hey all, my name is Alexandra. I'm 17 and a newbie to the community aspect of this site.
I've been trying to lose weight for health reasons since January. I am currently around 5'5 and 194lbs. It has been hard, I'll try the best I can for a month or so, see no results, and fall back to my old habits. Has anyone out there experienced the same thing?
What do you guys use for motivation? I find it hard to stay motivated when I can see little to no change on my body.
Any tips from getting accustomed to eating healthier to exercising would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hey! It is hard to lose weight, and I have definitely experienced the same thing. I'm 5'2'' and weigh 193 lbs. I was 200 lbs but I have lost 7 lbs with the help of this site. It takes a lot of determination, self discipline and support. It's so much easier to stay on track with the community and friends aspect of the site. The positive motivation and encouragement is helping me. I sent you a request!
