Lemon Water or Green Tea?

I've heard a lot lately that both green tea and lemon water with honey is pretty good with you. I've started out with the green tea every night about an hour after dinner and plan on starting to have a cup of water with some lemon juice and honey in the morning. Has anyone out there done/still do either one of these drinks and can tell me how it affects them? And if I should switch around when I drink them or increase the amount I drink?

It depends what you mean by "good" for you and what you're hoping to accomplish by drinking them.
I like green tea (hot, steeped, no sugar) specifically because it gives me energy.. the antioxidants are a side benefit. That said, I'm not sure green tea at night before bed is a good idea (could cause issues falling asleep). You could always try a nice chamomile tea if you like something warm before bed . Either way, yes it has many known benefits.
I used to drink warm water with 1 tsp of lemon juice as soon as I woke up in morning, and I've heard it jump starts your digestive system. I can't really say if it worked or not.
So in summary... drink either when you like but if you start to notice you cant really fall to sleep at night, start considering drinking green tea in the morning vs. night. I've also heard as many as 3-4 cups per day are fine.0 -
I love green tea and I love putting a little lemon in my water...they both serve to switch things up and are delicious...but I have a feeling you're looking for some kind of magic here...there is no magic. Weight loss is science and math....not magic.0

Not so much magic but I have just heard it that both are good for you in terms of digestive health and energy in general. I know there is no instant formula that is going to melt the pounds off, I just wanted to know what time of day would be best to drink either.
But thank you a lot, I tend to drink my tea around 6 or 7 and have no problem going to bed around 11 so I'm assuming thats all fine.0
