Random question about thigh and running...

So in 2011 I crashed a motorbike, and broke a lot of bones, including my right femur. As part of treatment I had emergency surgery to plate it back together, and then in 2013 I had the plate removed as it was hitting my kneecap when I walked.

Since the first op, I has had an area of muscle that doesn't seem...attached. It's on the right hand side, towards the back. It doesn't do much, but when I cycle, or walk, it kind of flaps about a bit (not dramatically!) I have recently started running and the flapping is quite annoying.

I was thinking of getting some physio tape to kind of strap it up, but didn't know if anyone else had had anything like this before and had suggestions?

Thanks!

Yeah, I'd see a doctor for sure.

Last time I spoke to the dr (I'm uk based so it was the nhs) they weren't really concerned as it doesn't prevent me from doing anything - they were more like "well we got you walking again our work here is done!" I have no idea how to get referred to a sports doctor! A private clinic I guess?

Oh goodness, see a doctor. I am cringing at the thought of that.
