Sure we do but why should we tell you? It's a big ole secret.0

Yes. Weigh your food on a scale.0

Calorie intake=what you eat and drink all day, calorie expenditure is what your body burns in a day, that's a little more complicated to figure out but still possible.0

You know this is a calorie counting website, right? Log your foods in your diary and it will add it up for you...0

OP, do you mean how do you know how much you should be eating for safe and sustainable weight loss?
This is full of great info:

or maybe do you mean how do you count your calories when there aren't any nutrition facts? i know i have a hard time logging some foods when im unsure of how to pinpoint the calories. (i.e freshly made blueberry muffins from a bakery)0

All you can do here is make your best guess. Find something similar in the database. The usual suspects....Panera, Starbucks, Wal-Mart....look for something that's the same size. This won't be exact, but it can be a good ballpark.0 -

Yes, I'm looking for more clarification on how many calories one should be eating. I'm assuming it is different for everyone based on height, age, activity level,etc0

If you enter your stats and goals into MFP, it will generate a calorie goal for you.0 -

If only there was an app/website that calculated that for you, then allowed you to log your food so you can tell how many calories you're eating daily. If only.0 -

OP...go to your home page and click on goals. There is an option to use the guided setup. Until you figure out what you are doing that is the one that I would use.
Later you can possibly set your own goals.
