FITBIT Question

I know lots of you use Fitbit and I am thinking about getting a Fitbit, but I have a question. Can you customize the messages, i.e., have the device say, "you did a great job," even if you only reach, say, 5,000 steps. Also, can I set my own goals, as in, 5,000 is a good day, 8,000 is a very good day, 10,000 + is an awesome day?
I have a Polar Loop right now. I like it and it's waterproof, but I want to change because it doesn't sync with MFP (boo!, MFP). But I won't do it if I don't like its features and I haven't seen exactly what I need on the website.
Help, please.
Rebecca

Hi, I have a fitbit, but still quite new to it. I know you can change your goals but not sure about the messages. You can google the fitbit manual which is about 30+ pages long, so there must be something in there about it. I've only got as far as about page 10 so far!0
