Rice - weigh raw or cooked?

If you cook a big pot of rice to eat a whole week, how do you weigh and split calorie each meal?

weigh it raw...otherwise its full of water.
I like rice freshly cooked, it only takes 10 mins...

I suppose you could weigh the raw portion x the number of portions so you know the weight in its raw state.

Then when its all cooked weigh again and divide by the number of portions. Fiddly but doable...

I cooked a big pot of rice the other day.... 1kg of raw rice made over 3kg of cooked rice. Definitely don't weigh cooked - you'll be ripping yourself off!

She can weigh it cooked if she logs it as cooked rice. I don't see the problem here...

Well most cooked rice entries are not accurate. I used the 'default MFP' one and it was off by 20% for me.

OP, weigh it dry and write down how many servings you made. Then weigh it once it's cooked, and divide by the number of servings, that way you'll know how many grams is one serving of your cooked rice.
