Frozen weight vs cooked weight

Cooking some chips for lunch... Back of bag tells you calories per 100g as sold(frozen) and calories per 100g oven cooked... Does this mean I weigh them when they are cooked ?
Know this sounds like common sense but I've seen so many debates on this!

I guess chips are french fries. I would weigh them before cooked. Easier.
