It's a meal replacement shake or bar. It won't make you lose faster than eating the same number of calories.0

Meal replacement drinks. It only helps you lose weight if it keeps you at a calorie deficit. Personally I don't think they taste good and aren't filling enough to be a meal for me. I'd rather eat real food and enjoy life. Also they aren't sustainable - you're not going to drink chocolate shakes forever, might as well learn to eat right from the start rather than using a quick fix.0

I thought they tasted great - but they're super expensive and after a while, I got pretty sick of chocolate shakes (words that should never be spoken). Additionally, it's not a sustainable plan and will not help you learn to eat at said deficit.
Slimfast is a tool that can help one stay within enough of a calorie deficit to lose weight. If you have the money for it, give it a try, but do not count on it being a long term solution. From my experience, those who have tried have rarely lost. Those who have managed to lose on it gained it back after they started eating normally again.0 -
I'll add that when I followed their program I was under eating to the point that I had some side effects. It's not sustainable, as others have said. I think food is better.0

I used to love their Chocolate Royale shakes. I would steal them from my mom and drink them, that was when they were in the can with the pop top. A few years ago, when I was looking for a quick breakfast I would drink 1 but that only lasted a week b/c they have a lot of added sugar. So I tried EAS' shakes, but they didn't taste as good b/c it didn't have all of the added sugar. Again, that only lasted a week b/c it was too expensive. Eventually, I just started making smoothies which was better for me b/c it was cheaper and better nutrition and less calories.
The only thing that will cause weight loss is eating at a deficit.0
