Is it beneficial for myself to work on Food intake timing? I have been at Maintenance weight for six months, don't plan on any body building comp, happy with the amount of muscle and strength I currently have at my age. My Macro's are always over minimums and calories obviously on par with weight staying the same.

So is there any health benefits to eating more than twice or three times a day?

I workout with weights 6 days a week (push pull method) and I do a 30 min bike ride every morning which is 9-12 miles so in good cardio and physical shape.
Male.
47 age
6' tall
185 lbs
hypothyroid take synthroid 137 but never an issue.

Thank you Mike

Nope. Meal timing is mostly irrelevant. The only time I'd possibly pay attention to timing is before and after workout, maybe.

What matters most is what feels best to you, is sustainable, and helps you reach your goals. What matters? The food amount in a 24 hour period, extend that out 30-90 days. The calorie report is a great way to look at long term and helps you see when your peak eating days take away from the deficit days and why people say - but I'm eating less and it's not working! If you can find a sustainable deficit most days with whatever eating pattern you choose, and not eat up over maintenance on your "eat normal" days, then it's the sweet spot. It ebbs and flows with your health, stress, and the seasons, so you just roll with it.

I typically don't eat after 4 everyday just because I'm not hungry and am in bed by 830pm sleep till 430am hit the gym with C4 and creatine for 75 min drive home ride my bike for 30 minutes get ready for work eat at 8 am around 800-1200 calories typically then another 800-1200 at 11 then a few more hundred around 3pm. My point to these questions is I'm fairly fasted about 16 hours everyday as I look at my eating habits. I have plenty of energy some people think WAY to much.. I do drink a lot (6-8 bottles) of water throughout the day.

    Just curious on Thoughts.
