Losing weight...but the results lag behind the number.

Curious...
I've lost significant weight (25+ in roughly 2+ months) due to diet and exercise adjustments. I feel FANTASTIC!!! However, I see that my skin is lagging behind my bodyfat loss. I know some severely overweight individuals will have this problem all their lives. However, 25 lbs seems to be an odd number for a guy that just turned 36.
Is it common for skin elasticity to take longer than fat burning? Everything is "sagging", and looking like I'm melting is something I'm scared of...

25 lbs in 2 months is a bit rapid and is over the recommended 0.5-2 lbs per week. If you slow the weight loss down a bit, your body will be able to adjust accordingly and you will be able to avoid loose skin more than if you lose it rapidly.0

Whether or not you get sagging skin is mostly a matter of genetics, unfortunately. However, skin does "bounce back" for a lot of people. You can try losing more slowly, which could help, but other than that there really isn't a lot you can do.0
