Does anyone else have this foot issue?

I'm not sure if this is related to my weight but I'm still curious. My heals always get bothered by new shoes. Every time I break in an new pair my heals are all cut up. Blisters that sting like hell when I first shower after getting them, they also bleed then eventually become a scab. My pinky toes also get blisters. The only time my heals are normal and healthy is when it's warm out and I can wear backless shoes. But unfortunately I live in a four seasonal climate. If I lived somewhere tropical I can easily solve the problem by never wearing shoes that cover my heals. But yeah it can be anything, boots, ballet flats, sneakers. The scabs take long to heal I guess because of my weight but then it'll happen again. Please tell me I'm not alone in this! And how can I stop this from happening?

Could be your socks. Try wool.0

Shoes in size wide.0

Sounds like it's to do with moisture levels - you feet can breathe in sandals, but in normal shoes they sit in their own puddles of sweat! Try a moisturiser. My heels crack from time to time, and I use Flexitol Heel Balm on them.0

Try shoe inserts to add cushioning. I also agree with the people who said to try going up a size or wider. If none of the suggestions help consider going to a podiatrist to look for possible malformations in your feet. I was born with major deformation in the bones of my feet and they don't fit normally into shoes without rubbing in places. I hope you figure it out, I know how uncomfortable feet can be. Good luck!0

^^^^ this. A good quality shoe store should be able to do a proper fitting for free.0 -
Could be the brand they all fit differently. Nike does this to my feet. But other brands nope0

You should not have to break in shoes. If you do, it is because the shoes are too small.0
