Today I hit that 30 day mark of MFP Logging and Staying within my calorie goal. Eating the right foods. Going to the gym. No alcohol. No pizza. No desserts. Etc.
BAM!!!! Today no gym and Tonight I went to pasta night at my club with my daughter. Yes I ate a bowl of Alfredo bow tie pasta and yes I had the banana cream pie. It was delicious!!!!!!!
I will say however I feel gross and full. I'm not going to dwell on it I'm not going to be mad but wow. When i don't eat that way for a month. I can really tell the difference. My body can tell the difference. It's not a good feeling.
Overeating. Not good!!!
However
I'm over it. Carry on .... Tomorrow is a new day.

Congrats on your 30 day streak! We all splurge occasionally. As you said, "Tomorrow is a new day!" Carry on0

Hahaha LOVE your attitude! I agree. Those days when I go crazy out of control just reinforce WHY I'm doing all this. To feel better.0

Love this thread. I've done 33 days (this time). Occasionally I have overeaten.......second bowl of special k yesterday.....lol....and even that made me uncomfortably full. I know how easy it is to slip Back into Bad habits, been there for sure, but this time it feels different. I'm not in a Big rush, happy with a pound or two a week, no stress, it just feels good and right. Yay for us!0

Its great to be able to have that mindset. I've given up coke for February, found myself starting to slip into old habits and decided not let it happen. I will never give it up forever but I can certainly moderate it. Because I worked on the habit last time I gave it up, I was drinking it because I like it not just out of habit. I quickly recognised that it was starting to become habitual again so am taking a break from it. Much easier now to go without than it was last time.0

That's it! Keep it up!
Today is my 30 days, down 8.8 lb. Some days I went over calories, some weeks only 1x @ the gym. Life shows up, but I'm stoked about the progress!0 -

AWESOME!!! I hope I can do the same in the next 30 days. If so, I'll be so much more excited to put on that bikini on my vacation to Jamaica March 19!!!!0
