Started using the app/website about two weeks ago now, so figured I'd say "hi". My goal is to lose weight and get in shape. Historically I'm a serial salad-dodger and couch potato with a habit of snacking between meals.
According to my BMI - I'm about 2ft too short, but given I'm already 6'2", I think it's time to shed some excess weight. My goal is to get down to 100Kg, which means I've got 23Kg to lose (make that 21.5kg as I lost 1.5kg this week).
So far I've used the app to stay within my goals for calories, fat, sugar, etc (with a couple of minor exceptions) and am walking 2 miles a day. I've taken up swimming again which is great. I'm going to a gym tonight for an induction and finally just for a challenge, I've entered a charity cycle ride in July. 52 miles...that should give me something to focus my training.

Hi, welcome. Similarities! Also been here about 2 weeks, like you fitness and weight.
I attacked my rowing machine early January increasing my fitness quite quickly, but the ol' scales weren't having any of it and ended the month at the same weight as I'd started (plenty of yo yo-ing though) - so have come here.
A few hundred grams gone this week, still early days. Could just be the battery in the scale giving up and not being able to count as high any more
