Over 50 and diabetic

I have several diabetic friends on My Fitness Pal but am interested in finding friends who are over 50 and diabetic. I think it would be interesting to see how we could motivate one another in controlling this disease with diet and exercise.

Hi... Over 50 but no longer diabetic (type 2) due to losing the weight & walking. It is possible if you set your mind to it.

There are a few DM groups here, one is: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1772-type-2-diabetes-support-group a search will get you more of them, I suggest picking a higher page # as those would be the ones with higher membership.
