YES! And any celebratory days0

No, your body doesn't know the difference. You don't 'get' extra calories. You can however decide to eat more whenever you want to.0
-
You can always eat more on one day and cut out a few calories the next.0
-
Heck it is your birthday- eat, drink and be merry.
I do and mine usually includes 2 weekend celebrations and a weekend away.
You are in Maintenance, everything will even out over time.

My birthday was the start of my bulk. It was a gnarly high calorie day.0
-
you managed to survive another year
who gives a *kitten* about calories on your birthday0 -
It's your birthday...eat and have a good time! Eating extra calories one day is not going to do anything. Just get back on track after.0
-
Celebration is an important part of life. The key to balance is celebrating things like birthdays . . . and not celebrating things like Tuesdays.
Happy birthday, have a wonderful time in all possible ways (including eating/drinking), and go back to your healthy routine after. You'll be fine!0 -
Go for it!0

Mine is on the second, and I am going to a buffet. Will try to behave but not promising anything.0
-
@veggiecanner don't behave, enjoy!
If you wish cut 50cals a day until the 2nd so you have a little buffer, but in reality you would have to eat 3500 over maintenance to put on a pound. Highly unlikely.
Don't worry about weighing the next day or so you will have gained a couple of pounds of water through sodium and carb consumption. It drops off within the week.
Eat, drink, and be merry.

to be the downer here

Every year you get older
How about that grins0 -
That was so nasty @BurnWithBarn2015 it made me cry.
Then I realised it was only 6 cals for me. I won't eat the fruit in my drinks
Cheers, h.0 -
I would forgo tracking calories, however I would still be mindful of what you eat (ie: do you really want cake AND ice cream? Do you really want three pieces of cake instead of one or two?) Not saying you can't indulge, but try not to binge just because it's a special day Just my two cents.0

absolutely! everyone knows birthday cake doesn't have any calories. duh
ETA: everyone knows Tuesday Cake also doesn't contain any calories...0 -

That's ok, at 62 I will give myself another 30years. On my 92 birthday I will have to skip a 180 cal cocktail, or a whole bunch of celery.

On my birthday I have what I darn well wish ...and then its back to eating at maintenance cals the next day.0

One day in isolation does not make that big a difference. Enjoy your day, as you would enjoy Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New years Eve and Day, 4th of July et al. The get back to business the next day.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!0
