    I noticed how they zeroed in on meal timing when it looked to me that the main plus for the cake-breakfast group was that they didn't need to crave "bad" foods because those foods weren't forbidden.

    People who aren't allowed to eat certain foods end up craving those foods. Who would have guessed? :s

    I couldn't have lost the weight I did if I completely deprived myself. Smaller portions for the win!

    Random, but I had an aunt who followed the principle of eating like a king at breakfast, a prince at lunch and a pauper at dinner.

    Stayed with her for something like 10 days and lost 10 pounds. We ate waffles, cake, ice cream sundaes and such for breakfast, normal type lunch, and then dinner was always crackers with cheese and summer sausage.

    Logically now I know it was probably all the walking around we did doing tourist stuff, but at the time it seemed pretty amazing.
