Is it bad for your body?

Depends on what you're doing.
Typically I'm active every day but I'll alternate between activities to allow recovery / adaptation (especially important for running & weightlifting)
If you think about it, our ancestors didn't take days off. Hunter/gatherer societies as well as less mechanized agricultural ones didn't have rest days nor did the early industrial revolution. The human body evolved to engage in a high level of physical activity (when it comes to running we're one of the species with the most endurance and the only one who can keep our heads steady to maintain sight of our prey). It's the century or so of not "working out" every day that has contributed to the current obesity epidemic...
Having said that, don't try to go from zero to one hundred overnight. pick activities that you enjoy and be consistent!

i do something everyday.0

I also try to be somewhat active everyday. I have 1 day of rest, the most I do that day is get my 10K steps in. Otherwise I run 3 days and cross train with body weight exercise the other 3. I alternate between the 2 so that I'm not using the same muscles everyday.0

It depends on what you're doing. I "workout" 5-6 days per week generally with 1-2 rest days. Rest days don't mean sitting around doing nothing...it's just rest from more vigorous activity...I still walk the dog and/or do some yoga or take the kids out on a recreational bike ride or a hike or work in the yard, etc...I just allow myself to recover from more vigorous exercise.
It is also beneficial to mix up the intensity of your workouts...this also aids in recovery. For example, I have three days per week where I do two-a-day workouts and they can be pretty intense with a good hard ride in the AM and lifting in the PM...on my non lifting days, I still ride, but I might do an easy flats ride or just a shorter ride, etc. Going balls out all of the time is a good way to get hurt.
If you're lifting you should not be working the same muscles or groups of muscles on consecutive days...doing that pretty much negates your workout.0 -
I walk evrey day. I do less on the days that I do lifting. Make sure you listen to your body and do not over do things and injure yourself.0

Im like the above. Walk every day but vary the intensity & put 24 hrs recovery between everything else. That keeps me injury free. When I need a day off mentally or physically I just take one.0

Saturdays and Sundays are rest days, and by this I mean no gym and no fitness classes. Sometimes I walk, sometimes I don't, but I always get busy and active with house or garden work or shopping.
Depending on the intensity of your workouts, you need to take a break to physically and mentally recuperate and avoid injuries. Muscles heal and became stronger during rest periods.0 -
Work out 6 days a week with one "rest" day. Which involves some kind of outside activity. Usually on my rest days I'm babysitting my nephew so we usually go to the park & for a 2 year old, a lot of running around lol.0

I squat everyday, it's something you need to build up over the course of a few weeks and your body will eventually become conditioned.0

I work out four times a week with three rest days somewhere in between.0

I'm active every day. I work out five days a week and the other two I still walk, do some gentle yoga, do some gardening etc.0

I lift 4 days, run on 2 or 3 of the non lift day, try to yoga or stretch often... not usually every day, but something most days. That said I also rest well.0

I do specific work outs 6 days a week - typically running 3 days and strength 3 days and on Sunday's I "rest" by no means am I sitting around all day, this time of year that often includes ice skating, sledding (which means waking up hill a lot) or some other activity. I always take some time for good stretching on rest day - sometimes lite yoga - just not hard work like the other 6 days.0

Don't workout everyday - gym five days a week and at the arena playing hockey about three times a week. And I take Thursdays off. Off as in me with the couch and Netflix all night...0
