I love my mentor

If you are new and haven't seen it, look at the adopt a noob thread. I started last year, but stopped and recently came back to MFP. I signed up with a mentor and she is awesome. I feel accountable but also cheered on.

My mentor encouraged me to walk every day for 20 minutes. I have been walking. It may not sound like much but it is a start for me. I am weighing my food. I have made some goals. I am losing weight.

    20 minutes a day was where I started with walking, too. And it worked. And every week I went a bit further. Now, I regularly walk 5 miles, and am pushing towards 6. :) You'll get there, too, one step at a time!

    I found a wonderful mentor when I started here a few months ago. It makes all the difference!
