My trainer told me I could gain 20lbs in 2 months, and I was skeptical at first, but I'm happy to say that we pulled through! 10lbs of solid muscle and all of my 1 rep maxes are up 15-20 lbs.
I don't like feeling winded, but it's worth all of the power, and bulk.

Unfortunately unless you are on steroids you didn't gain 10 pound of muscle in 2 months. Women gain about one pound of lean mass per month in the early years of training. Maybe slightly more if the conditions are excellent, but definitely not more than 2 pounds of muscle in a month. Most of the 10 pounds of lean mass gain is water mass, since water mass is lumped into the lean mass category.
It's great that you have gained strength and are adding muscle. That's something to be proud of for sure.0
