Should they be weighed with or without shell? Mfp verified entry doesn't say anything about that...

I've never weighed an egg. I log it as it's size/grade. If one is small or larger than the average egg of its grade, it evens out over time. I believe machines weigh them to classify the grade.0

Probably true. I get mine from a farm, though, and they can vary quite a bit, from 40 g to 65 g, although they average around 50-55. I can judge them by sight almost exactly now, but for me, since I break them into a bowl when making an omelet anyway, weighing makes sense if I happen to be logging.0 -

Then if you want to add additional ingredients you hit the tare button again. Add the new items. Hit tare, add the new items, etc.. Much easier and cleaner than trying to use 100 different measuring cups and spoons.
(But personally I never weigh eggs - I just select the size I purchase and go with it. I weigh pretty much everything else, but not eggs).0 -
The nutritional information is for the edible portion...you don't eat the shell.0
