Manually Logging FitBit Adjustment?

Hey all, I finally got a FitBit Charge HR a few days ago and it's the best decision I've ever made.
However, since the synching between MFP and FitBit has been wonky lately, I decided to unsynch them and just log the fitbit calories manually.
Question: Since I'm at -2 lbs/week, I know I should be at a 1000 calorie deficit. Should I just subtract 1000 from my TDEE (according to fitbit) at the end of the day, and then log the difference between that and MFP calories as exercise?
Example:
MFP has me set at 1470 cal.
Fitbit tells me I burned 3,033 calories yesterday.
3033-1000 = 2033
2033-1470 = 563
So I log 563 calories as exercise.
That's what I've been doing, but FitBit is telling me I've burned a lot more calories than I had originally been figuring before I got one. Just making sure I'm not way overshooting.

I manually log my FitBit burn for anything over 1700 (my TDEE).0

There has been a problem on the MFP side with the syncing and calories burned thing, but the solution for most of us has been allowing the step count to show in MFP. If you would like to continue letting it adjust automatically, do the following to clear up the issue.
(on the app) go to "Menu," then click "steps," and then select "Fitbit Tracker."0 -
I haven't had any issues with my Charge HR adjustments syncing...I often think the number is high, but when I look the next day the math works out right. I am not sure I agree with the TDEE I am getting from my Charge so I don't always eat the calories but the sync is working for me anyway.0

MFP eating target Plus MFP deficit Plus MFP Fitbit adjustment equals Fitbit TDEEat midnight.
So the OP example looks OK.
For the vast majority of people who log fairly meticulously and absent some medical or pharmacological condition Fitbit TDEE estimates are accurate enough.
Why don't you trust it for a bit and adjust after a few weeks based on your results as per your trending weight app?
