Sluggish.

I will start out by saying- I do not tend to eat the recommended macros. I'm a vegetarian so in the past I had a hard time meeting protein and I know for sure that I didn't eat enough complex carbs. I'm working on all of that, though.

My question is- when I tend to start feeling sluggish, heavy, etc. after a few hours of not eating, is what is that generally due to? Carbs? Protein? Blood sugar? None or all of the above?

Sometimes when I do not get an afternoon snack, due to work, I start to feel very sluggish around 4 or 5-- that heavy feeling, your feet do not want to move, you just want to go to sleep, type of thing.

I've been at this for years, yo-yoing every time. I'm just trying to figure out how to make it work better this time. Thoughts and recommendations on this subject and anything similar is greatly appreciated.

Next time you ask, open your diary.
I did, and people helped me tremendously. I was barely getting any protein.
Are you even eating 1,200 calories a day?
People can just guess at answers unless you open up.
I was going to guess hypoglycemia. I happened when I did not eat for long periods of time.
Made me feel faint, dizzy, and shaky.
I always had peanut butter crackers pack with me.

My diary should be open! Oh yes, I eat 1650 a day and eat back half of exercise!
