Anyone have mirena and still losing weight?

    I had the Mirena put back in me like a month now. So far I lost 16 pounds. But I hate that the Mirena makes me break out with acne

    The amount of hormone released to the blood stream is minimal but may be slightly higher in the first few months, so I would suggest you hang in there and watch your diet. Progestin can cause some water weight retention and as the level goes down and your body adjusts you may feel better.
