Day 2 at MFP

Wow! Here I am only on the second day of being a member, and from day one, seeing that I came under my calorie goal, made me feel like I accomplished something. That is what I need in a diet and exercise plan, constant encouragement, and constant feeling of accomplishment. I always expect results immediately, and while I know that is impossible, my brain keeps focusing on it. Now, I have something else to focus on daily. I'm looking forward to seeing how this really works, but I just wanted to say that this is definitely motivating me to keep going, where before, I would give up very fast. Very excited to read about the success stories, I will be there one day, too!

Welcome alex!!! Glad day one went so well. If you are exercising (running, walking, jogging, whatever), I suggest downloading an app called "Endomondo" (it's free and pro is pay), and hooking it up to your MyFitnessPal. That way, every time you exercise, it will automatically add your workout to your timeline and diary, and you'll get lots of feedback!!

Plus, every 5 days you log in, it congratulates you (MFP does)!!! Talk about a reason to come back! :) I'm on day 120 I believe. Don't wanna break my streak!
