So I woke up late yesterday and didn't have time for my full workout, so I did 25 minutes of interval training on the arc trainer, and 3 sets each of pullups and dips on the body weight-supported machine for strength training, and a few minutes of ab work. Now that is not a machine I usually use, but I figured it would work a lot of different upper body parts all at once so I'd get more bang for the buck. Well it sure did -tonight I can't lift my arms up to brush my hair, reach behind my back to undo my bra or push the stick shift on my car! Ouch!! And I know I should know better but sometimes I do dumb things.:ohwell: I sure hope I'm not alone out there! Anyone else care to share their overdoing it stories with me?

I once did cardio so long that I barely made it to the restroom toilet to throw up. All the water came up right as I was swinging open the stall door.

Not lately and not really intentionally, but I got carried away and was having so much fun with learning the dance and ended up dancing for over 4 hours. When I woke up the next morning I felt like someone replaced my bones and muscle with concrete. After the heaviness and soreness wore off I felt amazing but I'll never work that hard again.

Does tearing a calf muscle (minor tear) chasing and playing with a grandson count? I reckon it does, so yes I over did it last Thursday. :ohwell:

Ummm me! Tore a ligament in my knee last Wednesday and can hardly walk still so yes, I think I may have over done it! Wish I hadn't though

Sure, that counts! I hope you logged it as exercise too!

I hear ya, I love to dance! So easy to over do it, which is why I don't do it in heels anymore.:ohwell:

Yeah it does! The Doctor I saw last week said MCL but I'm seeing a specialist on Tuesday so will know for sure then. Was kind of hoping to be able to at least walk by now! I miss my exercise
