Hello all! First off, I'm new to the app so please add me! :)
-I feel im at a fitness plateau. Is there anything anyone has done or is doing that is working to get rid of those last stubborn few lbs? My body tones up very quickly, but my problem area is my lower stomach. Thanks in advance!

Get a digital scale and weight everything, log everything on here, know your BMR and stick to that. Experiment with different intakes over a matter of weeks, look at your results and adjust if need be.

Annnd... keep doing it for a long time. It's not fast anymore.

I'm in a similar boat, can't get rid of the last 5. I know how to weigh and have figured out what I like... but it's sticking with it for a long time that doesn't seem to stay with me. Being diligent for that long tires me out faster than I can lose it. So I'm working on this issue. Need to make life easier I think. I recently bought a deep freeze. Next steps are to buy a lot of containers, a lot of food, and tape and a marker so I can freeze individual portions for like... 3-6 months all in a day or two.

Put your stats into MFP to lose .5 lbs a week. The less you have to lose the less you should lose weekly. Losing faster will mean more muscle loss than necessary.

It is slow losing the last few pounds, been there done that,so logging and weighing your food accurately is even more important.

MFP gives you your NEAT. This is your BMR plus regular daily activity. You are supposed to log and eat back your exercise calories. Eat back 50-75% as MFP tends to overestimate burns.

Keep at it and you will get there.

    Cheers, h.
