While I know that being thin isn't really the best goal, being healthy should be the focus, I just wanted to say my subject title is really more about a book I am reading titled "Thin for Good". It seems amazing as it focuses on both the physical and emotional aspects of eating low-carb, and is sort of similar to Overeater's Anonymous. I almost laughed out loud in joy when the author who is a medical doctor discussed how the book discusses a new way of eating but not a "diet" due to the negative connotation, but even more importantly, I love how the author discusses how we can feel anger or irritability when we are changing our eating habits.

So far the science sounds pretty good (avoid processed foods that are high in carbs, focus on healthy proteins and carbs from fruit, veggies, and even healthier grains like kamut, etc.) and I really like the questions that the doctor suggests we ask ourselves or even journal about them. I know I can eat emotionally so it's good to get all the tools possible to overcome eating when I am stressed or upset. :)

I'm reading it on Scribd, which I so adore! :) I've got like 30 books in my library! :)
