Want to be able to do things with my kids

Hi all.
I used to be athletic. Then I became a computer artist. I'm pretty awesome! But I sit around all day.
I'm short, 215 lbs, and need to lose 65 lbs.
So I thought I'd post an intro here in case some of you feel like cheering me on.

My motivation: I'm too out of shape to hang out with my kids anymore and one's about to leave for good! I'm running out of time.

My quick story
My oldest son, age 17, will leave for college soon, he's one of my best friends, and I'm not ready for this yet. But when I tried to hang with him by going skiing this weekend, I broke a sweat just getting on my gear, and had to stop on the slope 3 times on the way down. Finally I was like, "just go on without me." He was like NO, I was like "You must live on". So he did but sadly. This happens all the time with swimming, or anything that isn't sitting down.
End of story

So that has to change.
This is me "skiing". I'm smiling because I took my boots off and finally got to rest.
