I am in a wonderful relationship.

I am working in a steady job with people I like.

I am not completely broke all the time.

But there's something missing... MY HEALTH. For a long time I didn't have those things listed above and my health suffered. I was depressed and lonely a lot and food became my easy way to feel consoled and comforted. I didn't exercise, I ate too much of all the bad stuff no one should eat, and now I need to make up for all those years of not caring about myself.

I am here to get healthy, lose weight, love myself, and become the strong woman I always knew I could be!

I'm 27 years old, I'm following the Paleo diet (at an 80/20 ratio) and exercising 6 times a week (3 days a week doing the C25K app and 3 times a week doing upper body strength/ab/core workouts). My starting weight was 294 pounds at the beginning of the year and I weighed myself today (Feb. 11th) at 270 pounds! I am using MFP to keep me accountable and to motivate me.
