Meal replacement shake powder

I have smoothies every morning filled with 1/2 cup of almond milk and a banana, blended with ice and a tsp of unsweetened coca powder. I love the chocolate taste but was looking for a powder to go into my smoothie to keep me fuller until lunch. I don't necessarily want anything that will build muscle. Just something to maintain or loose weight and keep me full.

I've tried the shakeology brand and it tastes pretty good. I'm currently using 18shake which is a close 2nd on taste but has substantially fewer carbs. Both seem to work for keeping you feeling full.

Protein powders won't build muscle on their own. You'd have to be lifting heavy in a caloric surplus in order to build muscle.

That said, Casein powder is great for meal replacement because it digests slowly, and clumps in the stomach allowing you to feel full longer. Optimum Nutrition is generally expensive, but it's also the best tasting if you ask me.

Powder won't build muscle. That takes hard work and generally eating at a surplus.

Look for (whey) protein powder, soy has an odd taste to me. I like Pure Protein. Then add some spinach for fiber, and maybe a few nuts for fat. With the banana and cocoa you won't even taste the spinach.

Meal replacement shakes should have fiber in there already. Slim Fast has way too much sugar....I haven't tried other brands.

Walmart and target have protein powders. And if you don't like the taste, they have a 100% money back guarantee. Products online like Shakeology will cost you an arm and a leg and are the same thing.
Walmart sells Pure Protein. Pretty good stuff. Costco and sams also have whey proteins.

This! Protein is great for maintaining what muscle you do have while dieting. It's not going to make you look like a man.

Meal replacement shake powders i.e. milkshakes with some fancy writing on the side to bump up the price....
