hand blenders

Options
ok shoot me the brand of hand blenders you love to use in your home... I am in the market to buy one (I have been using my nutri bullet to blend soups which takes forever!) Someone mentioned a metal one instead of plastic due to heat... I am in Canada so hopefully it's one we would have.
Something to blend anything really from onions and carrots to potatoes and squash.

Like an immersion blender? I have a KitchenAid brand -- used it for several years and it still works like new.

Nutribullets for smoothies and nut butters, immersion blenders for soups! I have a Bodum Bistro Electric Handheld Immersion Stick Blender, very pleased with it, use it for soup almost every week. It's long and heavy, took some time to develop a technique for cleaning, but it's no problem anymore.

Bought the cheapest one I found on Amazon when mine broke a month ago and it's just fine!
