Ate too much :(

This will sound silly to most of you, I bet, but really I just wanted some support because this morning I ate a huge sweet which amounted to pretty much 1000 calories, and now even though I exercised for half an hour and will exercise more later I can't shake off this feeling, I feel almost sick with guilt, just wish I could slap myself in the face. I'd lost 2kg until now and I'm afraid I'm going to throw my effort away. I don't even know why I ate it. I felt awful the instant I finished, and can't tell people around me because I'm ashamed, and just really wanted someone to tell me that it's not th end of the world, because right now I feel like it is.
Sorry if it's really stupid.

At the end of the day it is only food. Enjoy yourself. Log it forget about it and start again tomorrow. We all overindulgence sometimes, it is completely normal. Now just go dance and sing as loud as you can lol0

I presume this does not happen too often, right?
We all have been there a time or two and it will pass. You recognize what you did wrong, but you have not derailed your plan or goal so shake the guilt and shame and no need to try and "extra exercise" the calories off, because it is one day..
It passes I promise..
Just a question out of curiosity, do you really know why you ate it?0 -
Thank you..it does not happen often, no, as I do my best to control myself even though I had a few problems in the past regarding food and control.
I really don't know why I had it. I was coming back from delivering some documents to my Uni's office, went to get bread for lunch, then passed the bakery and I just..lost it? Without thinking, I bought it, got home, ate it really fast and that was it. These moments always scare me because I feel I have no control whatsoever. I even cried after. Just feeling really pathetic atm.0 -
Don't beat yourself up. Finish your day well and then start again tomorrow!!!0

It happens to the best of us.
1000 calories in a few minutes?! Been there! So, let's do the math:
Presumably you could afford 250 as a snack.
That leaves 750 extra that you didn't need.
Save 110 calories a day for the next 7 days and call it even that's like an apple or a small banana uneaten every day. Or a tablespoon of oil.
You got this.

It's not stupid to feel that way and a lot of times for me I've done the same thing and then compounded the problem with the mentality of well, I screwed up so it doesn't matter anymore I'll just eat whatever.
Something that helped me was to keep in mind that the goal is progress not perfection.
If these kinds of cravings are something you are constantly dealing with you can either attempt to never ever give into them and the succumb randomly like you did today. Or. You can plan out and premeditate your sweets and account for it in your diet. If you want to have something like that once a week it isn't going to break your overall trend and if you know it's coming up it allows you to resist a random trigger. Plus, since it is premeditated you have more control over the portion size so you don't necessarily feel compelled to guilt-slam 1000 calories.0
