Good afternoon everyone! I'm new to MyFitnessPal. I've used other tracking devices but find that I slack off because it takes too long. MyFitnessPal seems to have a much larger database of foods which makes it easier and faster to log.

I'm hoping that by logging my food, I will hold myself more accountable and be more honest with myself. I also enjoy seeing the calories my gym time is burning. I am curious though, MyFitnessPal is automatically set up to add additional calories to the day depending on the calories I burn. Will this not inhibit weight loss?

Any advice I would appreciate.
