support when sick

Today I woke up feeling awful. Needless to say, I didn't go to the gym. Now I find I want to eat everything in the house. How do you all keep on track when you are sick?

you had enough energy to type this message... probably you have enough to log what you eat. Eat at maintenance if you like, til you recover.

A lot of MFP members suggest eating at maintenance while sick. Personally, I eat at the same average intake that I typically do. I'll skip the gym if absolutely necessary. Stay on track and you will feel great tomorrow!

IDK...usually when I'm sick I have the opposite issue...I have no appetite.

Its your TDEE if you set your activity level to sedentary, i think. That will put you close enough to maintenance anyways.

If you are set to lose 1 lb a week then you just add 500 calories to get to maintenance. 1/2 lb = 250 calories.
