I drink both. Taste wise, I prefer the Calorie Countdown and it works better in coffee. I have a really hard time finding it though.
I also noticed it has more protein.
Is almond milk really better for you? If so, why?

I think that people who are trying to get their carb count really low might prefer the almond milk for that reason. Also almond milk may (depending on the brand you use) have more calcium. The Hood Calorie Countdown, on the other hand, has more protein. I think it really depends on what you are looking for.
I mix most of my protein shakes with 50% unsweetened vanilla almond milk and 50% Hood Calorie Countdown for a little bit of the best of both worlds. And I just find that mixture is the most appealing, taste-wise, for me.0
