Eating clean is a phrase that will bring a storm on these message boards. You can lose weight whether you eat foods that have great macro and micro nutrients or horrible nutrients. For all practical purposes, the only thing that matters for weight loss is the calorie.
However, for your overall health and how you feel, choosing to eat food that packs better nutrients in it is probably better in the long run.
Clean eating just has so many connotations depending on who you talk to and some people are truly fanatical about it. It has left a bad taste in many people's mouths.
Keep eating nutritious food, keep eating less calories, just try to avoid saying clean eating as a word choice.0 -
