I have a Garmin VivoFit with the heart rate strap. Every time I add an exercise to my diary it automatically adds with it extra exercises that I didn't do.
I.e this evening I did Zumba and it added 2.0 mph walking and an additional 200 calories burned on top of the Zumba. This happens everytime
Why?

Garmin automatically creates everything you do with a heart rate strap as either walking or running depending on how fast you are moving (unless its cycling). it wont show up in MFP as zumba even if you change it in Garmin. so you basically have two options - accept the calories garmin gives you and under the MFP walking exercise posting say that you did Zumba...or dont dont bother with the heart rate strap and record the calories you burned doing zumba. I trust garmin more.

Note: if you do go the entering Zumba in MFP route, ensure the time of the activity is correct. That way Garmin gives the right credit for all of your walking outside of Zumba
