Is adding exercise on MFP cheating myself on calorie deficit?

If I've decided my calorie goal based on my estimated TDEE (I want to have a slight deficit) then isn't it "cheating" myself by adding my cardio exercises, and thereby earning more calories on MFP? Since I've already figured what my TDEE is based on my current activity level? Should I not add my exercise to MFP so it doesn't "give" me those extra calories?

I add my exercise but never ever eat exercise calories unless you've. HRM no way of knowing exactly amount burnt
    That's my opinion

It isn't cheating, it is what is expected, but the general consensus is that the calories added for exercise may be a bit generous. It seems most people don't eat back all their exercise calories, half seems to be a normal compromise. Keep tracking consistently and see how it is working for you and adjust if needed.

Yep, if you add exercise calories when you're using TDEE you're double counting.

It's what's expected if you use mfp numbers, not TDEE

Kind of missed that, thanks for the correction
