although I did do well with losing most of the weight I wanted to, I only managed to build my leg muscles, or firm them up. I am logging my foods again, working with emtwl because I am a believer in strength training with weights. I am also one of those that could never handle eating less than my BMR, thought I'd die and only did it for a couple of days. Now I eat around 1700, and do exercise regularly. They weight training will be added in gradually as I am just using stretch bands for upper body right now. I have an injured rotater cuff I got from camping last Summer. I carried too much basically, every day, hauling water back and forth, carrying stuff down to the beach etc:)

Anyway, just wanted to let folks know I am around, 63 year old lady that truly wants to enjoy my life as much as possible, for as long as possible. Maybe avoid some, or all the pitfalls of being sedentary, and of course, eating more than I burn off;) My diary is open, if any others, maybe my age want to see what I am up to. Be glad to share, and be a friend/buddy. I do this thing alone, as I am single/divorced but it can be done, even on our own:) We have online support that's for sure, thanks to places like mfp, and emtwl (if you are into the weight-training) and gyms if you like going there. I am joining, paying by the month, no contract. My kind of gym;) denise
