How do I weigh/measure this? ( chicken drumsticks )

Options
I am having boiled chicken drumsticks ( sounds gross but it's pretty good).
Everywhere I look ( including through the mfp food search) measures the amount of calories in an individual drumstick. I usually use this no problem, but today since the chicken is being boiled it will be falling off the bone. So I need to measure it in ounces on my food scale. I found some stuff online but dont know if it's accurate. I'm new to weighing all of my food. Before I would just use the predetermined measurements on myfp. I had great success but this time around I want to be as accurate as possible to see if it makes a difference.

Look it up on the USDA website.

Weigh your meat, pick a usda cooked dark meat entry.

Weigh the chicken before cooking. Set the bones aside and anything you don't eat. Weigh that. Subtract from the starting weight. The result is your entry. Use the USDA dark meat chicken entry.
