Give this place a try first. Counting calories really, really, really works for me.
    And it's free.
Tips: Get a food scale. Plan your meals.

I've been doing slimming world for about a year, but found I was yo yo ing.
I think I found it hard that I could eat mountains of free food.
That's why I'm here I want to teach myself to control the quantise I eat and get the right nutrients.
Having said that the vast majority of people on slimming world lose vast amounts of weight really easily.

I am but I've found I've plateaued so want to try a different approach to see if I can boost the loss.. I've been 1lb off, 1lb on, stayed the same for 6 weeks.. I think our bodies get used to the style of eating and so the loss slows down.

its not about styles of eating its honestly about calories you are eating. its math. unless you use a controlled portion diet of some sort measured for you that puts you at a calorie deficit...the solution is weighing your food and logging them so you can determine how much you are eating. You also will need to adjust your calorie intake levels as you lose weight.

Wish you the best no matter what way you go about it.

I've never heard of this. Is it just like weight watchers? What is "free food"?
