Is it normal to loose 7lbs in a week?

So I am just starting my 9th week at the gym. For the first 9weeks I lose inches but no weight. The scale never budged. All of a sudden this week I am down 7lbs. Is that normal or something I should be worried about?

    I've never had a "woosh" that big, but it wooshes are normal (ie, weight loss isn't linear).

    I'd keep going and track your losses each week. If you're still consistently losing alot, it may be that your deficit is too aggressive, in which case that can be fixed by either eating more calories or working out less.

    However, if you look at your loss over time, you're losing about .77 lbs a week, which would be considered a healthy loss.

    Maybe but my eating amount this week was no different then any other week.

    That's one of the reasons why weight loss isn't linear.

    OP google woosh. Read up on this, it is normal to have a woosh of 3 - 7 pounds.
