This thursday i will be starting lite n easy for my lunches and day snacks. for $54 per week for 5 lunchs and 3 snacks per day (on the 1500 menu) i thought that was pretty good.
lunch has always been my achilles heel because i am either out, and havent prepared anything, or im home and just grabbing what looks good rather than what is right.
this will take the guess work out of it for me.
hopefully it makes a difference.

Good luck ...how long do you have to sign up for?
If you have a long term budget restraint and don't want to be spending that much forever ...Work out which foods you like best, then find out how to make them..and start batch cooking and shopping at the weekend (or when you do have time) so you always have grab and go foods
TBH I find when I haven't cooked it's easy enough to grab from a range of supermarket foods within my calorie counts, and I'm not talking the weightwatchers style ...spend some time checking out ready meals and sandwiches and their calorie counts / macros I found it quite surprising to realise that a whole lot of easily available foods are between 3 and 500 cals0 -
I assume you will be logging the calories alongside everything else you eat that isn't on this scheme0

I'm eating 1800 calories per day and my weekly food budget is $65.
I'm cheap and love meal planning and cooking though. Having ingredients for what I want and need makes it easy to stay on track.
What is guess work exactly (I see it all the time as an argument for paid services like this)? You do have access to MFP food diary that gives you a goal and calculates calories, macros and micros for you?
Anyway, good luck to you, and bon appetit0 -
$54 isnt much for lunches and snacks here (australia). i would easily spend 10 bucks on lunch when im at work.
There is no minimum sign up term, just renew the order each week.
its not about guess work and availability of nutritional resources, its time resources mostly (have 3 young kids, full time job and my own business on the side), plus indecision leading to a bad decisions.

I've been on Lite N Easy for just over a month now. I'm really enjoying it. Check out my video to see what sort of food you get in a day.

Good luck, I started mfp after suffering through that disgusting garbage they call food on lite n easy, this is so much more sustainable and ice learned how to eat. Lite and easy is just eat, don't learn. I did lose weight on it but half of that is I'm sure from throwing out awful half meals and uneaten bruised apples and nasty mandarins0
